This video goes over some of the differences you will need to keep in mind when you are caring for a vinyl pool. The pool in the video is an in-ground one but the same principle applies for an above-ground one. Remember that the liner can tear if anything sharp comes into contact with it. There is very little acid demand in a vinyl pool so using Tri-chlor tablets and even heavy use will lower the pH. Test the pH at least once a week.
